Ordinary umbrellas rely on a handful of thin metal ribs. Prime pairs an aviation-grade aluminium alloy frame with 10 reinforced fibreglass FlexGuard™ ribs that flex under a gust and spring back into shape, so it gives instead of snapping.

Will it fit in my bag?
It folds to 35 × 6 cm and weighs 420g, and comes with a strap sleeve.
How does it handle wind?
FlexGuard™ ribs are built to flex under strong gusts and return to shape, where ordinary metal ribs would bend or snap. In very strong wind, angle the canopy into the wind.
